ISS2008
is the seventh of annual international schools
and workshops organized and run by IPM, Tehran,
in the field of string theory.
The ISS series has been held in various
locations in Iran, including Isfahan, Shiraz, By
the Caspian sea-shore, in the Qeshm Island of
Persian Gulf and Tehran, ISS2008 will be held
in Isfahan.
The school will have two parts: pedagogical set
of mini-courses on the advanced topics of string
theory; and a workshop in the form of short
seminars on recent research of the participants.
The lectures of the school part will be about:

theory, preparation for LHC

relation to spin chains. Recent
