The School of
Physics of IPM in collaboration with the Center
of Excellence in Physics of Sharif University of
Technology is organizing a one day workshop on
high energy physics with emphasis on the LHC and
CMS experiment. In this one day activity a
number of distinguished scientists from CERN,
IPM and Physics department of Sharif University
will review the future of experimental high
energy physics and different aspects of the LHC
experiments.

PhD students in physics, computer science and
engineering are encouraged to apply to
participate in this workshop.
