Upon your arrival to the Tehran airport, please look for someone with the Workshop sign who will help you with the transport to the Guest House or domestic terminal. Flight to Qeshm
There
is only one flight everyday from Tehran to Qeshm at 7:00 AM . You should book
your Qeshm flight through your travel agency. In case that it is not
possible let us know as soon as possible so that we prepare your ticket
in Tehran.
Accommodation
It is planned to accommodate all participants at Qeshm International Hotel. Upon arrival, each participant will be registered at reception desk of the Hotel. Please note that room service, laundry and long distance call will not be covered by the workshop.
Lectures
The workshop will start on Sunday December 15th, at 14:00 PM in the lecture hall of the Qeshm Free Area Institute of Higher Education (QIHE), known as Kolah Farangi. There will be three talks in the morning and three talks in the afternoon.
Language
The official language of the Workshop will be English.
Weather
Qeshm's climatic conditions are good with temperature averaging of 30 C (day), 22 C (night) and humidity averaging 75%. The Island's climate is one of the most pleasant in world from October through March.
Electrical Appliance
The electricity supply in Iran works at 220 V and 50 Hz. There are standard sockets.
Meals
We will provide you breakfast, lunch and dinner during Workshop. Vegetarian meals are also available upon request.
Excursion
There will be one excursion on Tuesday December 17th. The details will be given during the workshop. If you want a tour to Isfahan or other historical sites, you should inform us as soon as possible. We will introduce you to a tourist agency. Note that during these trips you have to pay your accommodation in cash US dollars.
