Series of Lectures on Condensed Matter Physics

The School of Physics at IPM is pleased to announce a series of lectures on superconductor- to-insulator quantum phase transition and theory of pseudo-gap in superconductors by Dr. Kamran Kaveh from Simon Fraser University, Canada who will visit our department from 18th July 2012.
It would be a good opportunity for PhD students and researchers who are interested in these subjects to gain experience by joining these lectures. The following lectures are scheduled:

  1. SUPERCONDUCTOR-INSULATOR TRANSITION AND QUANTUM PHASE TRANSITION IN DISORDERED BOSONIC THEORIES
    Monday & Wednesday 2 & 4 Mordad 1391  Time: 14:00-15:30

  2. QED3  THEORY OF PSEUDOGAP HIGH TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTORS
    Monday & Wednesday  9 & 11 Mordad 1391 Time: 14:00-15:30

 All participants are welcome.
