The " Freydoon Mansouriۥs fellowship 2005 " in string has  been  awarded  to  Mahdi  Torabian  a PhD  student  of   physics  department  of  Sharif  University  of Technology  working  towards  his  PhD degree  under  the  supervision  of  Professor M. M. Sheikh-Jabbari  of  school  of  physics  of  IPM.

The  awards  committee  of  2005  consisted  of  Farhad  Ardalan,  Hessamaddin Arfaei  &  Reza Mansouri. The  fellowship  was  established  in  honor  of  late  Freydoon  Mansouriۥs  by  his  family  to encourage  work  in  string  Theory  in  Iran.
