Workshop on High Performance Computing (HPC08)
School of Physics, IPM
February 16-21, 2008

      A six day workshop on High Performance Computing is planned by IPM, Tehran. This workshop is intended to provide an introduction to high performance computing and parallel programming.

     The workshop includes two days of tutorial on GNU/Linux to provide necessary background for following advanced lectures given by Dr. Cozzini from CNR/INFM Democritos and SISSA/eLab, Trieste, Italy. Therefore, all participants must be experienced in computer programming to gain the maximum benefits from the workshop. The workshop includes theoretical lectures in the mornings and lab sessions in the afternoons. The amount of seats in the lab is limited.

     Only PhD Students and faculty members can be admitted for the workshop. More information may be found at the registration form.
