Inflationary cosmology has emerged
as the leading candidate for explaining
the recent observational data. The IPM School on
Early Universe Cosmology is
intended to provide background knowledge for
advanced PhD students and
researchers who would like to work in the field
and covers various aspects
of inflationary cosmology and related ideas.
The topics which will be covered in the School
include:

Review of basics
of inflation

Models of
preheating and reheating

Inflation from
string theory
-
Inflation from
particle physics scenarios beyond the
Standard Model

Alternative to
Inflation
The School is organized in a series of 3-4
lectures on each topic by prominent physicists
of the field.
Application Deadline is November 1st, 2009.
PhD students are kindly requested to also
