A recognition for our former postdoc
 
 Former school of physics postdoc Mehdi Neek-Amal has been selected as the physics researcher of the year in the National annual research festival. Dr Neek-Amal is now a faculty member in Shahid Rajaee University Tehran, he was a PhD student of IPM school of Nano sciences from 2004-2008 and joined IPM physics department as a postdoc after his PhD. His works was mainly on studying thermo-mechanical properties of two-dimensional materials. Some of his recent scientific activities can be found in
Sciencedaily. We would like to congratulate him for his scientific achievements and wish him more successes.
