Soft Matter, Biological and Statistical Physics Research Group

 

Our research interests fall within the interdisciplinary area of theoretical and computational soft matter physics, statistical and biological physics.
Main research topics:
  • Strongly coupled soft matter (charged membranes, polymers, colloids, and coulomb fluids)
  • Statistical physics of charged disordered systems
  • Physics of viral capsids
  • Diffusion on ruffled and fluctuating membranes
  • Casimir effect and disorder phenomena
  • Chromatin and DNA complexes
